10 THINGS TO AVOID AT YOUR WEDDING

There are so many checklists of things you need to get done at your wedding! But, what about the things other brides have done and want to share with you SO that YOU can avoid them!

Here is my list & let me tell you why:

1. Procrastinating the details - like get the details done as soon as you can! Otherwise, the closer you get to the wedding the more overwhelmed you will be.

2. Delegating on the day of your wedding - DON'T DO THIS. Oh my goodness, if I could go back and make sure everybody knew what their job was the day before (or week before) the wedding I would! It takes off so much pressure and overwhelm on the actual day of your wedding and you can trust that everybody has got their job under control.

3. Drinking too much - I mean I think for obvious reasons you don't want to drink too much because you want to be able to remember and enjoy every moment.

4. Asking about the wedding party drama - omg, so... I feel like every family or wedding party has drama at one point or another in a wedding. Because of that, it's easy for the bride and groom to want to know. But, from experience, the less you know the better. You don't want to have to be worrying about other people's feelings on your big day.

5. Being overly rigid about the timeline - the most special moments happen when least expected so definitely allow for those moments to exist.

6. Telling your photographer to get a specific shot - OMG. Please don't do this. Trust your photographer to get everything you need and also JUST ENJOY the moments you are in. Would you rather have pictures to look back on that are posed or pictures that show the special, candid moments of your special day?

7. Being dehydrated - don't do this!!! Get enough water so you can have the best time & feel your best!

8. Making it your job to keep everyone happy - DON'T DO THIS. Unfortunately, a lot of people will act like it's about them on your big day instead of allowing you to be the needy one / the center of attention. You deserve at least one day so please don't make it your job to cater to the needs of others.

9. Forgetting to eat - omg, so many brides do this and don't have anybody that looks out for them. Maybe tell your soon to be husband that you both should get enough to eat on the day of and watch him lead you in that area.

10. Spending too much time thinking about if you spoke with every guest - don't worry so much! If the guest wants to talk to you, they will!
