Checked out the Chanel caviar wallet in Greece

🛒 Ditching the old wallet for smth new:

Since I was in Greece, & everyone says it’s cheaper to cart out luxury items in the EU, I gave it a shot.

💰 Saved some $$

⭐️ Five star service from the SA at the Athens outlet

♥️Changed perspective of the size, as I’ve never held a medium wallet before, it was all long wallets- eventually found it difficult to fit into tiny bags

All was great until I bagged this to the airport for the VAT refund. You basically get two choices:

1) refund thru the credit card (which I’ve read reviews and people said they actually waited for weeks/ months the refunds didn’t came thru)

2) refund thru cash- they give you back Euros on the spot

Of course I chose option 2 after reading whatever reviews I see online. I vaguely remembered the admin fee was a little shocking, (12 Euros? Odd) The amount wasn’t openly stated at the counter…….

Just a heads up!
