Power tracks for 1/3 of the price?!?

DUUUUPES are my favourite. Especially those that work perfectly at a much lower price points are really IT.

These power tracks are from a taobao shop called 优必克. Despite the uncanny similarity of the name, this brand actually has nothing to do with the local brand Eub*q! (Even the shop’s customer service said they get asked this a lot)

But the function, designs, marketed features and everything really are pretty much the same.

Having used this “eub*q” power track for 1 year +, here’s our full thoughts on it!

💰 Price:

Surface 750cm ~$90

Recessed 1500cm ~$200

Perfect! No complaints at all. It’s great for the price point, works like a dream, and quality is AMAZING. The only complaint is that the power plug heads feel abit flimsy and easily breakable BUT there’s an aluminum option for them in the shop that’s more expensive! Once you opt for that, it’s really just perfect.

👍What’s great about it.

- For us, we have a 3m long island in our house, and buying a 1.5m long power track gives us SO MUCH flexibility to plug in whatever, wherever.

- Aesthetics, it’s so much nicer to look at than normal plugs!

- Options of plug heads! From USB, to china options, and the commonly seen UK plug - it has all. Really love having the one in the kitchen to accommodate our taobao appliances.

- Quality! Each of our tracks has 1 plug that is used 24/7. One for our water dispenser, and another for our bluetooth gateway. They’ve both never failed.

🪛Installation

Ours was done by an electrician! And based on what he says, it’s straightforward especially for the surface type. Just link the wires up and mount the track.

For the recessed option, your carpentry must accommodate it! So you need your carpenter to cut out a space for this! But it does look a lot nicer flushed to the wall!
