A short guide to Anguk station for first timers 🔖🇰🇷

After coming back from Seoul, I’ve realized that Anguk has been one of my fav places to visit. It’s my second time going there but there always seems to be new things to do!

Here are some things I’d recommend you check out when you’re near the area 🇰🇷

1️⃣ Visit Gyeongbokgung

A quintessential itinerary item. Did you really visit Korea if you haven’t worn the hanbok at least once in your life?!

Anyways it’s my second time wearing it so I decided to wear a black/ red one bc 1) it’s cool 2) they’re my fav colors to wear 🙊

2️⃣ Visit cafe onion

The most HIGHLY raved about cafe and it didn’t disappoint. Food was great and so was the architecture!

However, do be prepared to queue (it can take at least 30 mins) and also mentally prepare yourself to see people in your pics. You can always remove them with a photo editing app.

3️⃣ Visit quaint looking shops and stalls

I’ve come to realize that there’s this street with a lot of cool (mini) galleries if you walk further down to Bukchon Hanok village. They also have a ton of cafes in the area if you refuse to dine at onion bc of the queue.

Trust me you must walk around bc they have a lot to offer and are good photo taking spots!

4️⃣ Walk around and take in the scenery

Sounds a bit obvious but the one thing abt Korea is that they have a ton of these traditional Korean houses. They’re so so beautiful and full of history.
