I had my first professional photoshoot?!😳

So my friend from the bay has arrived in Singapore and we really wanted to do a shoot together! I’ve always wanted to have a professional shoot (pics taken by an actual photographer) and I’m so glad that we were able to execute this well 😙

What we did:

👉🏻 Rented equipment from Camera Rental Center (it came with the camera, batteries, lens) - $138

👉🏻 Booked the Studio on Renticulous - $55/ hour

Thoughts on the studio 🧠:

👉🏻 It’s located at a relatively ulu place so it may not be so convenient if you’re carrying the camera/ clothes over

👉🏻 Had Lots of stairs leading up to the building so it may not be super accessible for those who are injured/ carrying a suitcase

👉🏻 Studio was VERY clean + spacious + had many amenities (they even had a vacuum cleaner, speakers, and microwave oven!)

👉🏻Studio had a wide range of lighting equipment

👉🏻You’ll need to set up everything yourself aka no one can come down to help you so it’ll be good if you had someone who really knows their shit

👉🏻You may need more time to set up the equipment and familiarize yourself with it so maybe stay in there for about 5 hours

Overall, I loved the entire experience and this collab was something I’ve always dreamt of! However, I wish we got more help (maybe have an assistant) because we spent a lot of time setting the equipment up.

Also do take note that you’ll need to provide your IC/ address to Camera rental Center should you wish to loan equipment because it’s expensive and they don’t want you to run off if you were to damage it!
