ROLEX earned through TikTok?!

This is the story of how my journey on TikTok earned me my first Rolex ⌚️

I made this post not to flex but to celebrate my accomplishment over the last few years and to act as a reminder to myself.

Sat on it for damn long, but hey, I worked hard for it.

Flaunting achievements? Absolutely! You’ve put in the hard work, and you deserve to celebrate your wins—just keep it classy. 🙌

But before you guys come for me, just to make things clear, I’m not trying to flex, and I am fully aware that I’m fortunate enough to be able to afford a nice watch and it took me years of hard work, blood sweat and tears to be able to comfortably afford one for myself. Growing up, I found myself constantly envious of others who seemed to have it all: the latest gadgets, luxurious experiences, and opportunities that felt just out of reach. That jealousy? It was a slow poison, sapping my joy. Instead of wallowing, I decided to shift my mindset. Why not aspire to be like them? Why not set my own goals and strive for them? So that’s exactly what I did.

I’m no watch expert, but let me tell you: the Rolex GMT Master II 116713LN has been a dream of mine. I remember the first time I saw it—I was captivated! Sure, with today’s market prices, it might seem like anyone can buy one, but it’s all about priorities and financial stability.

Fast forward five years: I told myself I’d make this dream a reality. With a world full of skeptics saying, “You can’t make money with TikTok!” and “Marketing doesn’t go far,” I chose to chase my passions instead—beyond the Rolex, I mean. 🌈

For context, no, I didn’t come from a well to do family, nor am I dabbling in anything illegal, and every dollar, every cent that came out to make the purchase was earned honestly.

After I ORD in 2020, my dreams of studying Wildlife and Conservation in Australia felt crushed due to COVID. Lost and unsure, I took a leap into TikTok—not for fame, but to learn the platform and develop skills in filming, editing, and storytelling.

As most of you might know, I started my Content Creation journey on TikTok back in November of 2022 when I was unemployed. And if it wasn’t for TikTok, I doubt I’ll be where I’m at now.

Fast forward to today: I’ve built an incredible portfolio, met amazing mentors, and secured clients along the way. Somehow, between saving, splurging on loved ones, and hustling on the side, I saved enough to make my Rolex dream come true.

I believe luck isn’t just chance; it’s when hard work meets opportunity. And you know what? The stars aligned when I found my dream watch at a perfect price. 🌟

After a lot of hesitation, I finally took the plunge. This wasn’t just a purchase; it was a reward for my journey—a reminder of how far I’ve come.

So here’s my message to you: Nothing is impossible! If someone like me—once unemployed and coming from a humble background—can achieve this, so can you. It’s not just about a Rolex; it’s about believing in yourself and your dreams. ✨

Life isn’t a rat race. Stop comparing yourself to others and let envy go. Live for YOU! Implement a positive mindset, and watch the magic happen. 💫
