figuring out who you are as a person can be tough. here are a few of my PERSONAL experiences that made me realize who I was! 🏳️⚧️
1) wanting breast reduction at a young age
- its not a bad thing to want the surgery but probably an alarming sign as a 10 year old. when I first heard of the surgery I couldnt help but feel jealous of the procedure and people who got it as I wanted to experience having a flat chest so bad.
2) seeing cis boys waste their potential (?)
- as cruel as it sounds I always thought boys who didn't want take their appearance "seriously" were ungrateful, I always thought when I was younger, "how could you let such a precious opportunity go to waste?" I saw boys being boys as a gift and they should take advantage of it.
3) roleplaying as boys
- oh god, this absolutely shouldve been one of the first signs. I would roleplay as boys in every single game as a child. I would even sometimes act like a boy on social media "just for fun" but obviously I wanted to be them.
4) "how do you see yourself in 7 years"
- saw this question on tiktok, if you genuinely sit there and think about it then it will become clear. what do you want to look like in 7 years? dont think about you family and friends think about you.
5) nicknames/comments
- comments: this only happen recently but for spirit week I dressed up as adam sandler and my friend commented "you look like an actual boy" and that warmed my heart for some reason.
nicknames: my guy friend refers to me as
"lil guy" or "buddy" and it makes me very warm inside
6) one thing i wish someone told me!!
- being raised a girly girl it does not mean you aren't trans. you might see trans people say they showed signs of being trans since they were a child but everyone is different. you could be raised around pink and unicorns your whole life and realize your trans.
