✨As I develop the story “He said I was cute” I find myself feeling closer to Clarissa in the story and her battle to love herself in the hell that is her life. A lot of her problems come from her inability to develop healthy boundaries that protect her from not just others, but also herself.

When our world 🌎 is crumbling down around us and things aren’t going as planned, it can feel like everyone and everything is against us. The truth is, we are against ourselves so the rest of the world follows. Once you establish your own version of self love you can create healthy boundaries, set the standards for yourself and everyone around you, buckle down to build discipline and then demand the respect you deserve after putting in all that hard work. ✨
