The Great Coffee Club in Shah Alam

Popular host Awal Ashaari's dream to open a coffee shop, The Great Coffee Club, finally came true when he successfully opened the first branch in Menara U, Seksyen 13, Shah Alam.

The Great Coffee Club has the option for indoor or outdoors seatings. You could have the morning breeze and fresh air outside and in the afternoon. It’s shaded so you don’t feel the heat at all which is nice since we are always staying indoors during this pandemic. The indoor interior is set up with simple contemporary modern furniture and the naked areas are decorated with plants or simple decors, we suspect this is going to be the next insta hangout soon!

The cafe serves a wide range of coffee and non-coffee drinks like tea, juices and others to choose from on their menu from light desserts and cakes to light appetizing healthy meals to soothe your hungry tummies. The desserts were selling pretty fast when I got there so few varieties were left. They are also companied by the famous Pasta Panas for you to dine in or take away along with your drink.

My friend and I tried their Signature Chocolate Matcha and The Great Strawberry Chunky Latte. I can confirm that both of the drinks actually tasted really good! The Matcha Chocolate pairs perfectly with each other since they use a premium blend of chocolate for the drinks.

The Great Strawberry Chunky Latte has chunks of strawberry bites than can melt in your mouth whenever you get a sip which is amazing! Their latte is undoubtedly the crowd’s favorite with amazing coffee roasted blends.

For me the price is slightly higher than the average cafes but the quality makes it worth every penny!
