Elegant afternoon tea experience in NYC

I'd never had "afternoon tea" until I found out about the Prince Tea House. 

This European-Asian fusion restaurant specializes in luxurious teas and their accompanying hors d'oeuvres. They have multiple locations around New York City, but I went to the one in the East Village. 

If you decide to visit  for an afternoon tea, here's what to expect:

First, you'll choose a tea flavor, but be prepared, because they have a vast selection. I went for the Hot Prince Passion Fruit Tea, which is a sweet blend of apple, passion fruit, peach, mango, and orange and it was amazing (note here that you can choose the level of sweetness of your drink).

Then the waiters bring you a 3-Tier stand with finger sandwiches, assorted desserts, and the best scone I've ever had. When researching this place, I found one of their popular cakes and I couldn't resist ordering the Brown Sugar Mille Crepes Cake, which is a layered crepe cake that you top with boba pearls. Make sure to try this one out, it is worth every bite.
