Today's Japanese Teriyaki Chicken Thigh Rice is absolutely amazing! The chicken thighs are tender, juicy, and irresistibly good - you could accidentally eat several bowls of rice😂
I used store-bought teriyaki sauce, so it's not too sweet or salty, making it super convenient and perfect to pair with rice. During my weight loss period, I swapped white rice for black rice or brown rice.
📒Ingredients:
chicken thighs, brocolli, carrot, and eggs,teriyaki sauce
1️⃣ First, marinate the chicken thighs with a tablespoon of teriyaki sauce and black pepper.
2️⃣ Heat a tablespoon of oil, pan-fry the chicken thighs skin side down until the skin becomes crispy and releases some of its oil. You can use a paper towel to remove excess oil.
3️⃣ Flip the chicken thighs, add three tablespoons of teriyaki sauce and a tablespoon of water.
4️⃣ Cover the pan and simmer on medium heat for about 6 minutes until the sauce thickens.
5️⃣ It's done! ✅ - Serve on a plate and sprinkle some white sesame seeds.
