Si Jin is a famous steakhouse in Bali, well known for their steaks and experience (and also a 3 months in advance reservation 😱) but is it worth all the hassle? Let me tell you right now, it is worth every hassle and $$$
This is my second time at Si Jin, they have never failed to surprise me in their service and food quality. From complimentary canapés to even a chopstick selection, this is unlike any steakhouse experience you will have.
We went in a group of 4 and we each spent $100SGD which is very worth it for such an amazing experience, below is a list of what we ordered and what I recommend at Si Jin❤️
Complimentary canapés ( depending on season )
Appetisers:
- UNII “YUKHOE” 2.0
- DANCING EGGPLANT
- WILD FIELD MUSHROOMS
- POMME PURÉE
- SAEWOO TWIGIM
- HAND CUT CHIPS
Main dish:
- MISUJI 9+ (I tried this on my first trip to Si Jin, sadly they were out of this on my second trip)
- HARAMI 9+ (We ended up trying this and it was just as good at misuji)
- 30 AGED USDA RIBEYE
You can ask the staff for recommendations based on the different cuts. I preferred a rich and fatty flavour and the staff recommended harami.
Desserts:
Forgot the names of the desserts but we ordered a honeycomb toffee dessert and a pistachio dessert to end our meal on a sweet note. I am not a dessert person however the desserts were not too sweet and were the perfect way to end the amazing meal
Do give this restaurant a visit if you are ever thinking of visiting Bali, do note that their reservations are taken up very fast and they open their reservation slots 3 months in advance.
