Mastering Train Rides Overseas: London VS Tokyo

After travelling to both London and Tokyo, I realised both places have very different systems and the level of difficulty in order to master how to ride their trains are also very different! Okay jom I cerita apa beza dia? Mana yang lagi susah?

1. LONDON, ENGLAND (UK)

It's very straightforward in London. I can easily figure out what train to take and never have I ever took the wrong train. Apps with live updates made the ride smoother too! Since they only have one train system/company in its operations. It was a breezeeee. Senang sangat! Tak pernah naik train pun pandai. Dekat station merata-rata train maps supaya tak sesat and naik yang betul.

2. TOKYO, JAPAN

I'll just be frank, it's a complete headache HAHAHA. They have so many companies operating and different companies' platforms are different in location inside the station and costs are different too! Not to mention different train cards has different functions! You will be extremely stressed out if you don't have a train app with live updates and indication on which train to ride. The key to mastering train rides in Tokyo is to always use an app and always triple check the train you're riding! Otherwise you'll end up riding the wrong one (happened to me multiple times)! The train maps of each train are not clearly labelled for tourists especially the english version and they're most of the time hard to find unlike in London. So, be extra careful when riding trains in Tokyo! Jangan terlalu rushing, kena check betul-betul tau!
