My 10D9N in Seoul? 🇰🇷

This is the last part of my Korea series, tap here for Part 1 (Jeju) and Part 2 (Busan). We spent a total of 10 days in #seoul, which gave us so much time to explore all the places that we really wanted to go. Seoul is definitely a shopping haven, and I severely underestimated my ability to control my spendings 🤡 But here is a quick summary of my Seoul itinerary!

Day 1️⃣: Travelled to hotel from KTX station > Check in hotel > Hongdae for dinner

Day 2️⃣: Bukhansan > 1in1jan Cafe (which i DO NOT recommend btw, the view is amazing but the drinks here were trash) > Dinner from convenience store + eggstop at our hotel room because we were exhausted

Day 3️⃣: Hongdae to catch our tour bus > Gangchon Rail Park > Lunch w/ tour group > Nami Island > Petite France & Little Italy > Dinner at Hongdae (Yoogane) > back to hotel

Day 4️⃣: Gwangjang Market > Myeongdong Cathedral > Shopping at Myeongdong Streets > back to hotel

Day 5️⃣: Lotte World > Caught a baseball game at Jamsil Stadium (DOOSAN BEARS FTW) > back to hotel

Day 6️⃣: Breakfast at cafe below our hotel > Ewha University > Walked to Hongdae for more shopping > back to hotel

Day 7️⃣: Brunch at Chang Hwa Dang > Gyeongbokgung > Bukchon Hanok Village > Cafe Onion Anguk > Cafe Layered > Han River > back to hotel

Day 8️⃣: Insadong > Ssamziegil Shopping Complex > Seongsu-dong > More shopping at Hongdae > back to hotel

Day 9️⃣: Filmlog > DDP > Shopping at Dongdaemun Shopping Centre > Myeongdong for more shopping > back to hotel

Day 1️⃣0️⃣: Checked out of hotel > Lunch around our neighbourhood > head to airport for flight home 🥲

We had some much time in Seoul, and to be honest, by this point of the trip we were a little exhausted from all the travelling. So we intentionally took things a little slower, waking up later and not feeling the need to rush everywhere and explore everything.

My favourite sights were the evening that we spent at Han River, but please PLEASE remember to bundle up because it gets so cold at night!! We were both shaking and had to rent blankets from the stalls there. My favourite activity was unexpectedly catching a baseball game - it was a spur of the moment decision, and I had no expectations at all. It was all vibes and no knowledge. But we got swept up by the game, the energy - it was just all very exciting.

And you can guess by the number of times we went Myeongdong and Hongdae, but I spent way too much money shopping for skincare and beauty items... but I'm sure I can girlmath my way through it heh.

Going to Korea with my partner was truly a dream come true for me, especially during the cherry blossoms season. It was something that I will always hold close to my heart, and a feeling that I will never forget. Was it expensive? Yes. Was it worth it? Also yes.
