travel diary: Hoi An, Vietnam - Apr’24

Sharing some photos of my travel to Hoi An in April this year.

✨Highlights of my Hoi An trip:

📷 1 - View of Hoi An Ancient Old Town from Faifo Coffee was great. Was surprised that the drinks and dessert was nice and affordable. Recommend checking out Faifo Coffee if you have time to spare.

📷 4 - Love the Kumquat drink from Cong Caphe that I went back for it a second time. Super refreshing!

📷 5 - The Hoi An Boat ride and release of lantern was alright. It was quite romantic tbh but the long queue tho 🤡 Will still recommend for the experience!

📷 7 - We had Cao Lau (Traditional food in Hoi An) and it was so so so good. Please try this dish if you’re heading to Hoi An. Promise it will not disappoint. ALSO I love the noodles they served at The Noodle House so much that we went back for a second time before we left Hoi An. I LOVE IT!!!!

📷 8 - Coconut Forest Basket Boat ride which was about 7-10mins car ride from Hoi An Ancient Old Town. It was a must-go attraction if you’re in Hoi An. It was quite an experience tbh. Do take note to bring along small notes as they will ask for tips!

I stayed there for around 2D2N but I feel that Hoi An is definitely doable with a day trip there or a 2D1N tbh. Would still recommend to check out Hoi An if you’re heading to Da Nang altho I personally don’t enjoy Hoi An as much as Da Nang because Hoi An was so crowded omg. And also! Hoi An is slightly overpriced as compared to Da Nang. 🥲
