Medieval Wedding Venues!

So, I had no idea where to start with venues so I’m just kinda winging it lol…. But I found some and here is my opinion on each and which I chose!

📍The Factory at Walton Mill - Monroe, GA ❌

Don’t get me wrong, this place is BEAUTIFUL. I love the brick look to the place. Plenty of places for aesthetic photos. The wedding will be completely inside. I went there for an open house recently and met the staff and owner, who were really nice and knew exactly what they were doing. However, it’s a bit pricey. They have many different options for packages and even allow you to pick and choose what you want. It’s mostly all inclusive, which is nice because it’s less work, but the cheapest option was running around 10k, not including stuff I have to do outside the venue.

📍RLM Affairs - Gainesville, GA ❌

Also beautiful! Outside for the ceremony, inside for the reception! Very affordable packages and the option of venue rental only. It’s kinda small though. They say they can fit about 100 people, which I could see if everyone was sitting, but it leaves no room for a dance floor. The outside garden is pretty, but it’s literally right next to the highway and the cars driving by are loud. The venue owner said it does get busy on the weekend (it’s close to a mega church).

📍Indian Springs State Park - Flovilla, GA ✅

Yes yes yes!! Everything about this place SCREAMS medieval! I actually have been to this park a few years ago and mentioned it would be a great place for a wedding, then I learned I could actually have one here! It’s kinda in the middle of no where lol. The Stone Pavilion holds about 130 people, has extra space outside, and the option of renting the field in front! You can go in the water, great for photos! There’s two rooms on each side, one to hold the reception and one is a kitchen. They provide the tables and chairs, too, and all with the cheap price of $575! I like how I have the freedom to pick and choose what I want for this venue!

It’s not official yet, there was some miscommunication on a tour, but I’ll be going next week to see about a date and ask some questions! The only downside is I don’t think we’re allowed to bring alcohol (that they have to know of 👀 jk…maybe).
