Spend the Day with Me (Prom Edition)

Today was my senior prom! Such a big milestone and I have to say it was the most fun I’ve had in a while. I thought I would take you guys along as I get ready for the long night ahead of me!

11:00: after eating breakfast and a quick workout, I headed over to my hair salon for a prom updo. Latest appointment I could get was 11 am! My hairdresser Gia is booked and blessed.

12:27: a quick Wawa run for a chai latte and snack pretzel. After-prom ends at 2:30, so I’ll need the caffeine booster.

1:03: my room was looking messy! After a busy week of testing and parties, it needed a little declutter. And more than anything I wanted my room to be clean when I get home tonight!

2:12: after some lunch and tidying up, I spent 40 minutes perfecting my eyeshadow and face makeup. I’m very wary about who I trust to do my makeup, so I always do it myself for big events!

2:57: I have gone to prom every year for 3 years, and it always pours the whole day! Luckily it stopped raining for pictures, but I needed the fairy lights to be set up by 4 pm, when my friends arrived. Because I was afraid of my hair getting ruined in the rain, my mom volunteered to decorate the front archway with fairy lights! Love you!

And off we went! Such a fun night with my date and friends. I felt like a princess.
