I was personally rooting for the wrong person all along, and although I wanted Lily and Ryle to have their “happily ever after”, I commend Lily for being so brave, for making a decision that was extremely hard for her. The easy thing to do would’ve been to just stay with Ryle and be a happy family with their baby. But she did something so much more brave, a decision that broke her just as much as it broke Ryle, and that is something that I still can’t stop thinking about. It’s hard not to fall in love with Ryle AT FIRST 😮‍💨. Yes, he’s charming and an INTENSE lover, but ultimately he messed up more than once. You want to love Ryle, but the more you read, the less you want to love him.
