Italy 🍋 Capri, Amalfi Coast, and Rome

If you ask me, the best time to visit Italy is in September! The weather is perfect and while there’s still many tourists, it’s far less crowded than the summer months.

Capri is stunning! The blue water and the iconic boutiques. If you are a luxury lover, this is the place for you! At night the place lights up with live music and dance. We stayed in Anacapri, which is the quieter sister and the highest point on the island. This town is known for its history and art, as well as beautiful views especially from the fascinating Villa San Michele.

Sorrento is a lovely place to stay when visiting the Amalfi Coast, it’s more mellow in comparison to the crowd we experienced on Amalfi and Positano… however, I will say Positano is a gem! Or as John Steinbeck said “Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone.” I personally would have loved to stay there longer. Le Sirenuse is an iconic hotel atop Positano that boasts mesmerizing views of the town and surrounding sea- definitely recommend visiting.

Oh Roma! The Eternal City. I truly wish we had spent more time here but if you only have limited time I highly recommend taking a Vespa tour and cooking class. Both were incredible experiences!
