My first solo trip experience!

5D4N Solo Trip 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

This was a spontaneous trip! Not gonna lie, I was really nervous yet I wanted to give it a shot as I’ve always wanted to do some water activities like swimming with the whale sharks 🐋 but I wasn’t going to wait around for someone to join me!

Some factors I considered carefully :

- A good accommodation (safety & comfort purpose)

- A list of activities I want to look out for

- A transfer service from Cebu Airport to Moalboal directly 2.5hrs (instead of the public bus 4hrs~) *I paid 3500 for this ANDDDDD then I found Riri thankfully and only paid for 2000 on my way back to Cebu City 🥳

Accommodation :

- Parrot Resort Moalboal (I stayed at this town - southwest of Cebu. It’s relatively quiet, not so developed yet peaceful.. so don’t expect it to be busy bustling like Bali or Phuket 😬)

Activities I did & cost :

- Whale Shark Swimming (3000 peso) About 7 hours including travel time and stuff

- Sardine Run & Turtle Swim (250 peso) About 1.5 hours, this was free and easy so you could go longer. Lucky for me I had two guides that showed me around and took lotsa pictures/videos for my memories 🥰

Riri Travel & Tour — highly recommended

Overall experience 💭

- There were not much in Moalboal itself apart from a few convenience stores and restaurants.. just 1 bakery (Ô délices French Bakery) 🍰 A few massage parlours too but they didn’t look convincing enough for me to try haha. I’d still recommend Moalboal for the activities as they were really amazing experiences for me 😍 it’s an ideal spot if you want slower pace getaway and peace 👌🏻 I felt safe walking down the streets too and generally people in Moalboal were friendly!
