im sure you’ve heard of how wearing a thick layer of makeup while working out is bad for your skin… but what if you still wna look priddy? 🥹 heres my take on wearing makeup to work out
🥊 skincare prep
even if you choose to go barefaced, dont forget your base routine + sunblock! my steps usually include toner, niacinamide serum & sunblock. this gives you an amazing glow while protecting your skin from the elements
🥊 spot conceal
with the tiniest bit of concealer (less than what i used if possible) and a fluffy brush, tap the areas that need some coverage. for me, its def my dark circles…
🥊 set with loose powder
going in with a loose powder & fluffy brush helps to pick up less product and keep your makeup lightweight! but dont skip out on this bc u dont want ur concealer to move about
🥊 blush & lip tint
i added a cream blush bc i find that it lasts longer, and used it as a lip tint too. the shade im using is HOPE from rare beauty.
🥊 eyeliner/eyeshadow
skip this if you’d like, but i find that i look the most awake with some eyeliner. finish with a waterproof eyeliner/some eyeshadow applied with an angled brush for a simple sharp wing 🔪
disclaimer: with any intense workout, you’d prolly sweat your makeup off anyway. however, i find that the process gets me ready for the day and if you look pretty you feel pretty 🥰
