Yummy & healthy plant-based bowls?!

This is not your new kid on the block at the CBD area but I finally got the time to try out Bamboo Bowls ! The bowls are said to be chef-crafted asian favourites which have zero sugar (now thats health) & using quality ingredients from whole foods!

And of course the mode of ordering is fully contactless. Scan a QR code, make your order and use your credit/debit card to make payment. Each bowl can be customised with low-carb alternatives & additional protein options.

Here’s the interesting part:

When the food is ready, there are 10 custom-built collection pods to retrieve the orders. An sms with link will be sent to you to open the pod 🤩 i n t e r e s t i n g isn’t it?

Now for food rating, here’s what I tried:

Review: The noodles are chewy, going along with come crunchy black fungus, and minced meat. I personally find that there’s a. good balance of spice going on, and it’s not too oily. I add on their Drunken Chicken because ya gurl needs her protein.

Review: Tbh it’s nothing fantastic or neither is it a “wow” taste - as per my friend, “It’s a very healthy Bali bowl”. What’s inside – grilled snake fruit, marinated tofu and sambal matah over red rice.

Also a shout-out to the cute yet minimalist interior! It’s free seating, so it’s probably best to head down early & avoid the lunch crowd. It’s only open on weekdays, so good for you Telok Ayer #CorporateGirlie & besties 👬
