👩🏻 My Sourdough Sandwich Bread Recipe 🥖

👩🏻‍🍳Ingredients:

500 g (4 cups) all purpose flour

60 g (4 tbsp.) unsalted butter, softened, cut into cubes

12 g (1 tbsp.) sugar or honey

9 g fine sea salt

50 g (1/4 cup) bubbly, active sourdough starter (100% hydration)

270 g (1 cup + 2 tbsp) warm water

👩🏻‍🍳Instructions:

1️⃣ Mix flour, butter, sugar, and salt, then add sourdough starter and warm water.

2️⃣ Knead until the dough is soft and stretchy, and let it rise overnight.

3️⃣ In the morning, shape the dough, place it in a buttered loaf pan, and let it rise again.

4️⃣ Once it's risen a bit more, bake at 375°F for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.

5️⃣ Let it cool, and it’ll stay fresh for up to 3 days.

👩🏻‍🍳Additional tips/notes:

If it's cooler, the dough might take longer to rise, and you can speed it up by increasing the starter or warming the environment.
