when you go through a body transformation, it’s possible to get a lot of questions about what you did to change.
for a while, i thought there was some sort of formula. i felt like for months, i was not seeing any results. but in all honesty: it takes time. ⏳
the secret formula? 👀

🍋 which is crazy, but true. there’s no secret. genetics and body type determine a great deal of how we grow muscle. personally i’m an endomorph: meaning i can tend to have a bulkier stature. it is extremely easy for me to gain weight and muscle (plus i’m 5’2).
✨ these photos were taken about a year apart. best believe i worked hard within the year, but it’s also important to consider that i’m on the petite side. i was about 170 on the previous photo and maybe 160ish on the right. i am currently 146.
🍋hitting a decent amount of protein for your body, strength training, recovery, consistency, and TIME are really the only things you need to see growth.
