Here are 3 ideas for getting your protein in at breakfast!
High protein berry oats
- Combine 1/2 cup quick oats + 1/2 scoop protein powder (strawberry is a good flavor choice)
- Add 1 cup water or milk
- Microwave until it cookes to your desired consistency
- Top with berries, and you can optionally add berries while it cooks as well
Egg white bites with fruit
- These are Starbucks copycat egg white bites!
- Beat egg whites, spinach, and finely diced red pepper
- Season with salt, garlic powder, and onion powder
- Pour into mini muffin trays and bake at 350° until cooked to your liking (to get them extra silky, also add a tray of water while baking to steam them)
- Add a side of fruit (oranges are a great choice)
Breakfast tacos
- Cut turkey bacon into small pieces and cook in a pan
- Fry an egg (just oil spray)
- Crisp a corn tortilla and top with avocado, turkey bacon, and egg
- Add extra turkey bacon on the side for more protein
