Ghibli Park Guide!! ✨

hElu I went here recently and here's a guide if you are a Ghibli fan! 🥰

📍Location

Ghibli Park is located in Nagoya Japan and it's about 1hr away from the Nagoya Shinkansen station~ I stayed at Nagoyaeki Access Hotel and then took a train there.

🎫How to book the ticket!

Tickets have to be booked 2 months in advance, so for eg. if you want to visit in June you have to book in April. The ticket openings are released on the 10th of every month at 2pm(Japan time), Japan is 1hr ahead of us.

You can book it on ghibli-park.jp/en ! *Just google it.

💰 Price: Its 7800 yen / $72 per pax for Premium pass

I don't recommend going unless you get the premium pass.

⛰️Park GuIde🏔

I did not know what to expect because I didn't do my research HAHAH.

BUT Ghibli park is located in Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park, which is an actual park that is fking hUGe. So get ready to WALK ALOT.

There's 5 parts to the park. Some parts are bigger and I will let you know how you should plan the route!! They open only from 10am to 4.30pm.

⭐️Ghibli Grand warehouse

- There's a fixed time entry! When you book the tickets the timing are for this part of the park.

- Get ready to queue for an hour here for the picture taking part of the "museum" I skipped this because I was lazy to queue- I think it would be an hour queue so there wouldn't be time for the other things, so dEcide based on the queue!! And its best if you can go here first!

- There's a short film to watch !

> Duration Needed: 40mins -2hr based on the queue

⭐️Hill of Youth

- Nothing much here, its based on the cat return and you can also visit the world Emporium House

> Duration needed: About 30mins here

⭐️Dondoko Forest (Where totoro is)

- Its a mini hike to where this is

- You can get exclusive totoro lucky charm pouch here! (Theres no actual blessed charm in it HAHAH)

- Satsuke and Mei's house is here, it was fun to explore the house

> Duration: 40 mins

> To walk here maybe 15 mins

⭐️Mononoke Village

- There's like nth much here

- Duration: 20mins

⭐️Valley of witches

- SPEND THE MOST TIME HERE

- I ate lunch here and had to rush off to ghibli warehouse which was poor planning zz buT they do let you re enter this area!

- The restaurent was pretty cool! Food was not bad.

- Howl's moving castle, Okino Residence and The house of witches is here!!

- In relation to all the magic related films ~

I think IT was really fun to visit here because Ghibli is my childhood, I just wished there was more Spirited away elements or even a part on its own, because its my favourite film..

But I would say my fav part of the whole park would be Howl's Moving Castle!! ItS like an actual house and the decorations were exactly like the film~ You can also interact with most part of the houses :3 (Open their drawers and all like you are actually in the film)
