Let’s make Limincello!

Ingredients:

9 Organic Lemons

1 bottle Everclear (vodka works too)

3 cups sugar

6 cups water

🍋Recipe:

1. Scrub your lemons and use a vegetable peeler to peel. Make sure not to get any pith (the white stuff). It will make it bitter.

2. In a big jar, put the lemon peels and pour the alcohol over the top.

3. Put in a cool place and shake every couple days.

4. Let sit for 29 days! (Be patient, it’s so worth it.)

🍋 After 20 days (Finally. YAYYY)

1. Use a mesh strainer to get all of the lemon peels out.

2. Boil 6 cups of water, when water is boiling add 3 cups of sugar and stir until dissolved.

3. Let cool all the way.

4. When cool add to the alcohol mixture.

5. Pour into whatever glass type of jars you would like. Store in a cool dark place until ready to serve!!
