Always on the lookout for from extra quick and easy cash? π°
Then you NEED to start reselling thrift store furniture! ππ½
Let me share with you how I do it step by step:
Step 1οΈβ£: Go to Your Local Thrift Store
My personal favorites are Goodwill and the Salvation Army. They usually have a wide variety of items to choose from at super cheap prices. π
Step 2οΈβ£: Find Furniture in "Like New" or "Very Good" Condition
When you're at the thrift store, your goal should be to find furniture that is in "like new" or "very good" condition. Look for items that are in demand, such as dressers, side tables, chairs, mirrors, or even fake plants. These are the types of items that people are often willing to buy.
Step 3οΈβ£: Clean and Polish the Furniture
Once you've bought the furniture, take it home and clean or polish it if necessary. This step is important because furniture that looks more appealing will get more views and buyers will want to pay a higher price for it. π€
Step 4οΈβ£: Post the Furniture on Facebook Marketplace
Facebook Marketplace is an excellent place to sell used items because it has a large number of active users.
When you post the furniture, make sure to price it at 2X the amount you bought it for. (For example, if you bought the item for $20 sell if for $40).
I've used this method and have made around $50 in profit by selling just two items per month. But you can sell 10 items a month and make $200-$300 per month if you stick to it π€©
So why not give it a try?
