Small Home Storage Hacks

Living in a small home means I often have to get creative and think outside of the box for storage solutions. Being a family of seven we have a lot of stuff, with limited storage and closet space. Utilizing our home and organizing all the things makes for less clutter and keeps things tidy.

Baskets: A must have. We have storage baskets in all of the rooms throughout our home, and each of them stores something different. In the living room we have large lidded baskets that store our extra throw blankets that are often used.

Toys: We have young kids and babies which inevitably means there’s going to be toys stored in all the rooms. Baskets are double as toy storage for all the small toys and books to help combat the clutter.

Small Storage: Keep those small items put away safely and out of site, by using a decorative box or basket. We keep our remote and charging cords tucked away in a small basket on our coffee table to keep it from getting lost.
