It’s golden milk season!

Check out this dairy-free twist on a traditional Ayurvedic drink known for treating conditions that are rooted in inflammation.

And ya know what? It’s still cold outside so this is still in the rotation. And ya know what more? When it gets hot come April, I may start icing it. May not be traditional but it sure sounds delish!

Recipe I used based on what I had on hand:

1 can of coconut milk

1 tsp of ground turmeric

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1 cinnamon stick AND 1 tsp ground cinnamon (because I love cinnamon)

A sprinkle of black pepper

1 spoonful of honey

Whisk ingredients together, heat on stove and serve!
