listen, if you’re uncomfortable with certain conversations or certain family members, you don’t have to engage or go around them (unless you want to.)

speaking up for yourself doesn’t have to be rooted in and said out of anger or rudeness.

you teach people how to treat you and if there’s something you have to do to protect yourself - do that.
