How to Create your Own Payday Routine

My Payday Routine (and why I do each step)

🙆🏻‍♀️ 1. Pay and track loan payments

(I break my auto loan into 2 payments a month)

🎁 2. Pay credit card

(I put my bills and all spending on my credit card but if you don’t, you can also pay your bills directly)

💰 3. Transfer funds into my savings

(I always make sure to transfers funds to my emergency savings and now I’m also tracking it on my new savings garden dashboard)

🧾 4. Keep Half of the remaining for rent

(I try to set aside of money for bills I know coming up at end of the month)

🤑 5. What is left is my discretionary funds

(This is last for me because my finance goals are to save and invest)
