banana bread is great for when your bananas decide to go bad the day after you get them. because ya know theyβre wonky like that. anyway my husband picked these overly ripe bananas that were going bad quick. so it led to this, which iβm obv not complaining bc i love a good banana bread in the a.m.
ingredients:
π4 overly ripe bananas mashed
π1/4 c brown sugar
π1/4 c granulated sugar
π8 tbsp softened butter
π3/4 c semi sweet chocolate chips (tbh i just shake the bag till iβm happy)
π1 1/2 c all purpose flour
π2 eggs room temp
π1tsp baking soda
π1/2 tsp baking powder
π1/2 tsp salt
π1 tsp vanilla extract
instructions:
1. in a mixing bowl, mix butter and sugars until whipped and fluffy - hand mixer or standing mixer works better for this part.
2. throw bananas, eggs, and vanilla in with the butter and sugars and mix well
3. sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into mixture and fold in until no flour is left.
4. throw in chocolate chips and fold into mixture.
5. in a 9x5 loaf pan that is greased, pour mixture in and top it w chocolate chips.
6. bake at 350 for 50-60 mins or until there is nothing on the knife except melted chocolate.
7. once done, let it cool and enjoy :)
