Thrift with me

I caught downtown Oakland Salvation Army in the middle of a big restock, and here is what I found!

My $12.96 haul:

🦆 Ceramic pottery duck trinket dish, mid century and made in Taiwan

🐓 Porcelain hen dish, I thought it was Westmoreland because of a WL stamp at the bottom, but they have only made glass hens as far as I know. Beautiful piece of unknown provenance

🐻 Belleek Blarney teddy bear figurine, with shamrocks

🌸 Forget Me Not sugar bowl by Myott Staffordshire, came from England

Not only was this a huge restock, it’s also clear that entire collections were being added to the shelves. There were at least a dozen bear themed mugs that I rearranged together on the shelf to show people that they came together, plus many teddy bear figurines and dinner bells. There were also a many duck & hen themed items. I left the unpainted duck trinket dish and the duck wicker basket for someone else to find. My cat would destroy anything made of wicker or reed within days 😿
