🏖️Beach Day🏖️

🏖️For our son’s birthdays (both are in June) we decided to take a trip out to Carlsbad, CA for the beach and Legoland! This trip is definitely one for the books!

☀️Since it was our first day there we have decided to take this day slow and just relax. To make sure the kiddos were still entertained, we decided to head over to Carlsbad State Beach since it’s only a 6 minute walk from our hotel.

🌊The waters were still cold but the weather was absolutely beautiful. No matter the temperature of the water though, those kiddos jumped right in! They absolutely had a blast running around and making sand pies 😂 We love coming to the beach for so many different reasons but our favorite is all the health benefits we receive from just being outside. Listening to the waves crash, my kiddos laughing and the sounds of the birds were all very much relaxing 😌 and definitely needed ❤️

🏨The hotel we stayed at was Best Western Carlsbad by the Sea. They have very clean rooms, friendly staff and a delicious continental breakfast. When we were picking our package out for legoland we knew we wanted to be by the beach, and they truly are a quick walk right to the beach.
