Skin care MUST HAVES!

Not all skin is the same, and not all products work for everyone! Personally, I struggled with acne, large pores, and redness. It took me a while to find what works for me through trial and error.. but here are a few of my favorite products that helped completely clear up my skin. Hopefully some of these will work for you too☺️

The Dennis Gross peel pads actually worked on my skin when nothing else did. I felt like it gave me a whole skin reset when my pores were clogged and my skin was irritated and inflamed. I kept getting breakouts and just could not get it under control. So this is a favorite for me. I used it once a day for about a week or two and then was able to cut back to once every two weeks! When I use this I generally do not use any other harsh products because of how strong it is.

The BYOMA face mist is a refreshing replacement for a toner that helps to restore the skins natural barrier.

The Cocokind ceramide skin barrier serum is an affordable skin favorite for me. It’s a daily serum I use in the morning which also helps to restore your skins natural barrier.

The Sunday Riley B3 Nice Niacinamide serum is great for reducing appearance of red spots and pores. It’s a newer addition to my routine but has easily become one of my favorites.

I have also used some prescription medications to treat acne. I have an IUD for birth control which actually was the root cause behind all of my skin issues. When I saw my dermatologist he recommended Spironolactone tablets to treat the hormonal acne caused by the IUD. Tretinoin is also a prescription cream medication that is good for acne and preventing wrinkles.
