Paradise Dynasty, Costa Mesa
Take a look at Singapore’s Paradise Dynasty located now at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa! Paradise Dynasty is known for its eight-flavor soup dumplings. Here’s my opinion on what I ordered here:🥟🍤🍜🍚
-Pan-fried Shanghai Kurobuta Pork Bun ($7 for 2 pieces): A solid appetizer to start with and the filling is flavorful!
-8 flavor xiao long bao (soup dumplings $18.25): This comes with flavors such as original, garlic, crab roe, truffle, cheese, kimchi, szechuan, and pate. My favorites are the garlic and crab roe!
-Prawn and Kurobuta pork wontons in chili vinaigrette ($12.50): I still prefer DTF’s spicy chili wontons but these were still good and filled quite well with prawns!
-Fried rice with pork chop ($17.75): This was just a typical fried rice dish with pork chop slices. The pork chop had a nice texture but I still prefer DTF’s as well.
It’s located in the Bloomingdale’s Wing. I recommend going during off-times to avoid crowds/long wait times! I also personally still like Din Tai Fung more, but if you want to try a greater variety of soup dumpling flavors, I recommend you give Paradise Dynasty a chance!
