This is my favorite spaghetti and meatball recipe. I’ve been making for years. It’s a red pasta sauce with vegetables paired with some delicious meatballs.
Ingredients:
- 1 jar of Rao’s garlic marinara
- half a box of spaghetti noodles
- 1 clove of garlic
- half of a bell pepper (I used some left over strips we had in the fridge from the day before)
- half a pack of fresh Porta Bella mushrooms
- half an onion
- a couple frozen meatballs
- salt
- pepper
- oregano
- basil
- onion powder
Instructions:
1. Boil your noodles and set aside with a tablespoon of olive oil mixed in so they don’t stick together
2. Chop your vegetables and garlic and sauté in a pan on low-medium heat
3. After sautéed, add in your jar of marinara and your seasonings then mix
4. Pop in your frozen meatballs, put a lid on, and let simmer for 10-15 minutes
5. Finally add in your noodles, mix around, and serve with shredded mozzarella and some basil
