an underground Mexican cantina next to Fujin, selling drinks and Mexican dishes, mainly tapas, but no worries, they had several main menus like Pescado or Pollo Esado. i went here December last year with Natasha for a long overdue 2022 catch up 😮‍💨

went for their bestselling taco menu. this one included beef skirt steak, red beans, cheese sauce, pico de gallo (Mexican salsa). savory and sour. enjoyed the meat, flavorsomee

☆ Taco de Lengua

another bestselling, taco filled with beef tongue, cabbage slaw, crispy onion, also picco de gallo. also yummy. i loved the texture that the onion gave, added more crunchiness to the bite 🤩

☆ Jalapeño Poppers

hollowed jalapeno stuffed with smoked beef, beer-battered jalapeno, monterey jack, and mozzarella. the texture tasted a bit like an onion ring but more rich.. a bit creamy from the cheese yet spicy from the pepper. soo inviting, definitely a crowd pleaser. i recommend to eat it while it's hot (but not too hot ok) for a heat kick 🤣💘💘

honestly have always been a fan of Mexican foods and this one surely fortified. perfectly fitted my palate, would definitely go back. 💖
