user-generated content (ugc) is getting more popular and widespread these days and there are people out there who actually make a living off being an ugc creator. if you’re planning to be one, you need to build a strong portfolio before pitching to brands and tiktok shop is actually a really good way for you to get free sample products, film them & basically build a portfolio from it. if you’re not planning to be one (like myself), this trick will still benefit you because you’ll be able to get free products in exchange for a short video OR to just go live on tiktok for 10 minutes which is very doable~

follow the steps in the pictures on how to go about doing this — just a few key points to note, you have to be at least 18 with over 1000 followers on your tiktok to be eligible. make sure that before requesting for an item, you are able to either film and upload a short video of it OR go live for at least 10 mins promoting the product. should you not fulfil this requirement, your chances of getting free samples in the future will be lowered for sure. also! just keep in mind that not all brands will accept your request, so j keep trying because there will be others out there who will accept!

i’ve been doing this for about 2 months now and it always feels like christmas when these parcels reach my doorstep… 🤠 huge variety of samples available, ranging from food to household items to beauty/skincare products even so you’ll definitely find something you’ll like.
