Mt Josephine was one of the most rewarding hikes I’ve done in Minnesota!!
The hike was 2.5 miles out and back, with most of it being uphill or downhill. Your legs definitely get a workout, but the view at the top is 100% worth it!
I was the only one hiking the trail that day, which made it even more memorable. I’m thinking this hike is a little less traveled than other popular hikes in the area like Oberg Mountain and Bean and Bear.
This hike is near Grand Portage , which is about 5 miles from the Canadian Border! It’s just under 3 hours from Duluth and 40 minutes from Grand Marais
If you’re looking for hikes on the North Shore, definitely add this to your list!
