Lake or Sea???✨🌊🤍

It blows my mind that Lake Superior isn’t considered a sea! She is the largest freshwater lake in the world by surface area and holds 10% of the worlds fresh water.

There are so many spots to see on the Lake. In the United States, Michigan , Wisconsin , and Minnesota border the lake. Each state offers different sights and experiences!

📍 Minnesota has the North Shore which has about 150 miles of shoreline. There are so many amazing spots to hike, swim, rock hunt, kayak, or just lounge on the beach! This area reminds me so much of Maine because of its mountains and hills and beautiful rocky cliffs surrounding the lake.

📍 The Upper Peninsula of Michigan offers so many beautiful spots on Lake Superior. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is one spot that has great hiking and beaches. The water there is stunning-it looks like something you would see in Florida!

📍 Wisconsin has 325 miles of Lake Superior shoreline. The Apostle Islands is one of the most popular places to enjoy the lake.
