🇹🇼 Taiwan hotels recommendations

hey lemon8!!!

im finally sharing about my taiwan hotels! i went to Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung and here are the hotels i stayed in

1. TAIPEI - Roaders Hotel Zhonghua ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2. TAICHUNG- Hotel Mapp ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

3. KAOHSIUNG - Kung Shan Design Hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Roaders Hotel Double Superior Room ($180/night)

Agoda screwed up our booking and we had to re-book this room a few days before we flew at the new prices… if not it would have been just $104

DO NOT BOOK THIS ROOM if u have a big luggage.. I repeat DO NOT BOOK. from the photos online, it looked alright but wow when i opened the door, i was shocked at how small the room was

❌walkway was narrow. theres a tv mounted on the wall in front of the bed. will likely hit it if u are not careful

❌no space to open luggage(???). it was so small that only 1 of us could open the check in luggage at one time. else we cant walk at all

2. Roaders Hotel Double Executive Room ($235/night)

tbh this room felt like a huge upgrade from the superior room that we had the first night!!!

✅ spacious (both of us can open our luggages and walk around w/o tripping)

✅ toilet! this room has bath tub in the toilet. u can soak ur feet after walking for the whole day

✅ free bath bomb from the hotel

✅ basic amenities provided. u can pick up more at the lobby if u ran out of it

3. Hotel Mapp Economy Room ($85/night)

this is a simple and clean hotel! room is more spacious than the double superior room at Roaders

✅ alot of food stalls near by

✅ feng jia night market is 10mins away

✅ mega supermarket right beside. you can get local produces there

✅ hotel provides free breakfast daily

we didnt stay in much, so didnt get to use their other facilities

4. Kung Shan Design Hotel Deluxe Suites ($76/night)

✅✅✅✅this hotel had the biggest room the whole trip! tatami area, bed area, lounge area, vanity area and even BALCONY(which i only realised on my last day)

hotel is 10mins walk from mrt, and liu he night market is just around the area too. i went there every night for the night market food.

also! the hotel provide free high tea and desserts in the afternoon. however, as i dont like to go back during the day, i stayed out the whole day and didnt get to try the desserts 😂

soooo for this price, YES I WILL BE BACK

** ps I went during peak season, so prices are higher than usual. u probably get lower prices if u book during off peak 🤩
