I’ve had my eye on the Dior Saddle Bag since it first came out in the 2000s. When it debuted in the DIOR Spring/Summer 2000 collection, I remember thinking it was such an insanely cool and kinda weird bag. It was always on my “dream bag” list and I never really thought I’d own one.

Fast forward to 2023 and a little trip I took to Paris with my sisters… I knew that I wanted to finally take the plunge on the Dior Saddle.

The reimagined Saddle Bag in 2023 is just so chic, cool and edgy, yet classic in so many ways. It’s an iconic style that looks cool with EVERYTHING. Plus, the addition of the crossbody strap has made it incredibly wearable and versatile. I love that I can transform the style from a shoulder bag to a crossbody.

In terms of cons… I took of 1.5 points for the fact that the flap doesn’t open SUPER easily and it can be a little hard to find stuff in the bag. To circumvent this, I keep my phone or anything I need super handy in the outside back pocket for easy access. (Problem solved!) It’s also a bit on the pricier side for designer bags, getting dangerously close to Chanel.
