NYC Apartment - Before and After

Welcome to my happy place! I can’t believe its been almost a year since my bf and I got this place. I wanted to remember how far we have come so I took a look at our pre move in photos! What do you think?

I still laugh at how deceiving the photographers wide lens was. Especially for the bathroom shot! But, we still love our tiny bathroom. I wanted to have pops of color in every room so for the bathroom I went with this sage green. I do live with my bf so I feel like that green is the perfect compromise to not be too girly but still incorporate some color.

Moving to the kitchen, I completely forgot that Austin (my bf) built that counter! Wow we definitely needed that space. We bought it from Ikea and thankfully he built it (lol). I can’t image the amount of pieces that thing must have had! Ikea furniture is no joke.

Last but finally not least, I wanted to highlight our kitchen shelfs! I have always wanted some floating shelves but had no idea how costly they can be. We also ended up adding in some additional support to the shelves for peace of mind. These were from Wayfair!
