i don't chase, i attract

let them come to you instead of you going to them is a difficult thing because I'm a proactive person and I'm soon to be in my mid-30s already, but here's what I learnt about attracting instead of chasing:

1) improve on your character flaws but be yourself

there's no point in changing who you are to suit the person because ultimately, you revert to your normal self after a while. for example, if my love is sporty and since I'm not, I'm very upfront about this

2) if he makes you work for it, it's a transaction not a loving relationship

a relationship should be easy-going, comfy and fuss-free. if he's being difficult and acting like a willy-nilly, then perhaps he's not for you. if he asks you to do things for him, like doing this and that just to be able to see him, then is he more of your boss or your boyfriend?!

I had this epiphany that if you exhibit the qualities of a good woman, after all its a woman's choice world so guys will definitely be lining up for you. it's okay to take a self-care day or days and that's nothing to feel guilty about, that prioritizing yourself and your own mental health is also something to be prized. 🌟
