10 Reasons Why You Are Still Single

I was single for five years before meeting my husband. In some ways this was intentional, in others it was not. I spent a lot of energy trying to get people to love me but was also scared to death of commitment. It wasn’t until I started focusing on giving myself the love I knew I deserved that I was able to actually fall in love.

I know it's the biggest clique in the world. I know it's not what we want to hear. And I know it won’t magically fix all your problems. Even when you loved yourself deeply and fully, there will still be nights when you crumble on the bathroom floor and ask the universe why you are so unlovable.

But if you love yourself enough to pick yourself up off the bathroom floor and keep moving, you’ll be showing the universe that with or without the love of someone else, you are loveable and that you are loved.
