STYLING A CORSET FOR SPRING

One of the biggest trends in the last year has been corset tops! I love styling these year round but they’re especially a great transition piece for spring! You can wear so many ways, colors, and styles paired back with a ton of different pieces.

Outfit one I styled this strapless white corset top from Nasty Gal. I paired it back with these super cute red leather shorts, also from Nasty Gal. Since it’s still chilly I threw my grey Djerf Avenue blazer over and knee high black Franco Sarto boots. I love the color way of this outfit and also how the lace brings some texture and detail into it.

Outfit two I paired the same Nasty Gal corset with my grey Djerf Avenue set. The matching grey blazer and trousers go with everything but instead of doing a plain white top I opted for the lace corset. This adds detail but also the perfect feminine touch with the suit set and sneakers. I love this look for brunch or if you want to dress it up you could swap the sneakers for a heel!

Lastly, corset with sweats! I styled this Hanky Panky corset bodysuit with grey oversized sweatpants, a black coat, and sneakers for a super casual yet feminine look. This would be cute for brunch or if you’re just going out shopping in the city, grabbing coffee with a friend. Comfy yet still feminine and chic with the lace peaking through!
