Iceland Itinerary

Iceland Iceland has been one of my most favorite trips to date. There’s so many stunning places to see, and I think the best way to do it is by roadtrip! Because that’s truly the only way to see most of the places. So, here’s my 10 day Iceland itinerary:

Day 1-2: Today explore Reykjavik and the Blue Lagoon

(Spend night 1 in Reykjavik and night 2 at Vogar Campsite )

Day 3: On your way from Vogar, go to the waterfall Seljalandsfoss

(Spend night 3 at Camping Selfoss )

Day 4: After you wake up, head on your way and visitSkógafoss & Black Sand Beach Reynisfjara

(Spend night 4 at Pakgil Campsite )

Day 5: Today you’ll explore the cute, coastal town ofVik & then stop at Fjaðrárgljúfur

(Spend night 5 at Skaftafell)

Day 6: Today you will go on a tour ofVatnajokull Glacier

(you have to go on a tour to see this glacier, enjoy a tour of the glacier with Glacier Adventure and spend the night at Camping Hofn)

Day 7: Wake up early to visit my favorite place in Iceland,Stokksnes & then stop by Hengifoss

(Spend night 7 at Camp Egilsstadir)

Day 8-9: Be sure to stop in the town Lake Myvatn & make your way to the northern capital, Akrueyri

(Spend night 8 and 9 at Camping Hamrar)

Day 10: Today drive to the western point of the island, and explore the iconic waterfall Kirkjufelssfoss

(Spend the last night at the Fossatun Camping Pods)

Day 11: Leave Iceland 😭
