DINNER DATE IDEA: Jap Izakaya on a rooftop ✨

If you’re looking for SOLID Japanese food, look no further cos this izakaya place is SO GOOD! it’s tucked away in the Ubi area so it’s not too bustling and you won’t be flooded by people ⬇️

What we ate:

🍣 Hotate Truffle Carpaccio Sashimi ($26)

- Super strong truffle with melt-in-your-mouth hotate pieces. Literally dreaming of it because it’s so good!!

🍣 Hokkaido White Corn ($12)

- Super buttery and sweet white corn. Good dish but not sure if I would order it again at that price

🍣 Salmon Skin ($10)

- Not bad- quite light and not to jelat oil taste for the salmon skin but not a must-try imo

🍣 Salmon Ikura Mentai Maki ($27)

- suuuuuper yums! Loved the slightly aburi taste on the salmon and together with the juicy ikura WAH SO GOOD

🍣 King Crab Croquette ($15)

- MUST GET IMO! the king crab inside was really nice and flavourful, and the croquette itself was actually pretty good like a pastry? And yet it was fried. Together it was just chefs kiss 👌🏼

🍣 Surume Ike (squid) ($

- I thought it was so-so but it was nice and soft so there’s that

🍣 Softshell Crab Maki

- it was a good helping of softshell crab which was nice!! Not to oily too

TBH was stuffed but I couldn’t help but wanted to try the Seasalt Sundae AND WAH SO SO GOOD 🥹 It had warabi mochi and some dango thing, paired with the seasalt ice cream and some cornflakes (?) below it. Everything together was such a dream. Best dessert!!
